Community Meals
Our Place serves breakfast on Monday–Friday from 9:30–10:30 a.m. We serve lunch on Monday–Friday from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays as well as all national holidays.
Our Place provides community meals at no cost to all members of our community who want a delicious and nourishing meal. Our staff prepares meals with fresh food donated or purchased from a variety of sources, including local markets and farms and the Vermont Foodbank.
Social Services and Other Help
Our Place is here to offer appropriate referrals or direct help navigating the social services system or in helping solve a problem. If you have questions about applying for SNAP benefits (food stamps), WIC, Medicaid, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, or other social services, call us at (802) 463-2217 or email info@ourplacevermont.org.
Our Place also delivers about 40 bags of groceries each month to seniors and disabled people from Rockingham to Athens and south to Westminster. Call (802) 463-2217 for more information.
Food Pantry
The food pantry is open by appointment Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9—11 a.m. and 1—3 p.m. The community food pantry is open at no cost to community members living in our service area who need supplemental groceries or personal care items. To make an appointment to visit the pantry, email info@ourplacevermont.org or call 802-463-2217 and press option 1.
We also host a food distribution event on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) from 9:30—11 a.m. at the Bellows Falls Waypoint Center. This is a very popular event, so arrive early!
