Join Us for Overflow the Opera House
On Thursday, September 26, Our Place will again be taking over The Square in downtown Bellows Falls for our annual food and fund drive
We will be there from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. collecting donations in a effort to Overflow the Opera House.
Our Place will be collecting donations of food and money in direct support of the food pantry and community meals programs. All of the donations collected will go directly to providing hot meals and groceries to our neighbors in need. If you are unable to make it to The Square during the event day, you can drop off food donations at Lisai's Market, M&T Bank, or Our Place Drop-In Center, all located in Bellows Falls—or make a donation online.
Volunteers are welcome! Come down to The Square on the 26th to join in the fun of collecting the donations and showing your community support for a good cause. If you would like to join in, we are asking folks to wear their Bellows Falls colors of purple and white to show our town spirit and support.
At last year's event, Our Place received over 2,200 pounds of food and cash donations of more than $12,000. Please consider donating and/or volunteering to help make this year an even bigger success.

We are thankful for two companies at the heart of the Overflow the Opera House food and fund drive. Both are headquartered in Bellows Falls.
Chroma Technology Corp. is a leading manufacturer of optical filters and related products that serve the scientific and technical communities. Their products are used in the fields of life sciences, astronomy, and meteorology.
Chroma's world headquarters are located here in Bellows Falls, and they are an employee-owned company with a corporate commitment to helping not-for-profit groups like Our Place.

Community Spotlight: Parks Place
Parks Place Community Resource Center is recognized as the hub of health and human services in the Greater Falls Area and a great partner to Our Place. Parks Place boasts having the first diaper bank in the State of Vermont. They offer free faxing, copying, scanning, and notary services.
They also host an array of community support programs as well as applications for state programs like fuel assistance and healthcare.
